Tractive Effort

rear wheel tyres and the road.
--------Therefore, the useful tractive effort is always less than traction.
-----Traction:- It is the ability of the rear wheels to transmit the tractive effort without slipping.
------Tractive resistance is expressed as (gradient resistance + rolling resistance + air resistance )
